Do you have a show jumping problem? - Ask Tim Stockdale
Riders can often hit a brick wall when it comes to a particular riding problem and this November and December international show jumper Tim Stockdale is offering riders the chance to ask him about their problems and get the benefit of his considerable experience at his demonstration tour.
Tim, who this year represented Great Britain at Beijing, on John Bolsher’s brilliant grey mare Fresh Direct Corlato, will be imparting some of the training techniques that have taken him to the very top of the sport.
Spectators are assured an informative and fun evening as Tim share’s his knowledge in his own inimitable style.
‘I want people to not only have an enjoyable evening out but to go home with some ideas that they can use through the winter months to help improve their jumping and increase the enjoyment that they get from their horse. After all riding is meant to be fun’.

WSRC AGM - Well as another membership year starts so does our winter programme of events and training. The comments from the questionnaire have been collated and will be discussed at the next committee meeting. All comments will be taken on board and from this we will hopefully be able to cater for everyone’s needs and provide something for everyone to do with their horses. If you have any further ideas or questions regarding training or competitions please dot hesitate to contact the person reasonable for that area. Please remember to keep an eye on the events diary and relevant disciplines pages for additional training etc. Wishing all members a successful winter season and if you have not renewed your membership please download your form and send it in.

IMPORTANT HELPS INFORMATION
A BIG THANK YOU to all those members who continually support the club by helping at events and competition. Amanda Rablin has joined Jenny in her quest to find helpers to support competitions.
A spreadsheet identifying those of you that have helped and those that
have not between October 2006 and October 2007 (a membership year), has been submitted to the committee for information. A new spreadsheet has already started to be compiled from October 2007 and will run until October 2008, so get your helps done as soon as possible before we have to contact you. This is how the system will work:
You fill in the form and return to: Jenny Leyton 29 Orchard Avenue, Chichester, PO19 3BG.
Once the HELP form has been filled in and, returned to Jenny Leyton, you will be informed by the event organizer, of the event details, location, times venue, types of help required. If you are not contacted by the event organizer, you will still be counted as helped. For most events we need approximately 6 helpers.
Please be REMINDED that it is a rule of the riding club that as a member you help at competitions TWICE a year, for example you can:
Help put up the show jumps the day before a show jumping competition or put them away the day after. Put out the dressage arenas the day before a competition. or help put them away after the event.
· Carry out maintenance on the show jumps.
· Score or write for a judge at a dressage competition.
· Steward at a show.
· Put out show jumps at the beginning of the season.
· Put show jumps away at the end of the season.
Unfortunately we have a small hardcore of members who at the time of asking either can't or won't help. This cannot be allowed to continue!!!!
Please fill out your HELP slip A.S.A.P. as it is not fair to expect us to chase you as we are all unpaid volunteers.
AS OF THIS SCHEDULE PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ENTRY TO A COMPETITION MAYBE REFUSED IF YOUR HELPS ARE NOT UP TO DATE. ALL ENTRIES WILL BE CHECKED.
