Various helpful suggestions have been made by members and next year we would like to include an In Hand Showing ring and perhaps, add some slightly more unusual Classes. For example, Foreign Breeds or a Miniature Class.
Lots of help is needed to run events like this, so please, anyone out there wishing to help in any way, or make suggestions for different Classes.
Come and enjoy some dressage training on grass in the Club Field!
You will have the opportunity to ride a Test in a grass arena and then have it Judged, you will then get the opportunity for verbal feedback from the judge about how you might improve your marks, and then you will get the opportunity to ride the test again. ( yes two goes at Stressage!!).
Test A - BD Introductory B (2009)(walk and Trot)
Test B - BD Preliminary 2 (2016)
There is no need to plait or to come in formal competition kit, you and your horse just needs to be clean and tidy.
This evening has limited places, (I’ve calculated no more that 16 max) and Members will be prioritised, and is ideal for the nervous / inexperienced rider or horse.
We have kept costs as low as possible and it will be at the bargain price of £10 for members and £12 for Non members.
Approximate times will be given and the evening will start with those doing introductory Test B, who may be led if children.
The event will be COVID secure, so please bring your own refreshments and maintain social distancing if the rules stay the same.
We ideally need 3 volunteers to steward the evening.
Jane Askham has kindly volunteered to write for the Judge.
One for parking, One for Ring steward. All to clear up.
We need two for a couple of days before to set up.
I am happy to organise this : email@example.com
